How Jasper AI Can Help You Earn More on Medium.com

You can certainly make some decent cash by writing on Medium.com

The very first story that I wrote on Medium.com was over a year ago and in that last year it has earned $137

And it only took me about 45 minutes to an hour to actually write this

So that wasn't an overall bad return on my time spent doing it. But for every story like that on Medium.com, I also have plenty of them that did nothing and got barely any traffic

This one, for example, just earned $1.50. The problem that I've always faced is I really want to be consistently posting on Medium.com, but I have so many other different things that I have to keep going

Like I have this YouTube channel, I have a website to keep going, have a job, friends, girlfriend and all that kind of crack as well

So I don't have enough time to try and keep posting consistently on Medium, unfortunately

Even though I really like it, it is pretty far down the pecking order. But I've started using a new tool called Jasper AI, which I hope is going to really increase my output and make me a lot more consistent when posting on

medium.com. Let me just give you a very quick peek at how it actually works. Jasper has an absolute

ton of different templates and use cases. You can use it for any type of content creation

whether it for ads e or social media or any type of content creation even writing scripts for videos But the main one we going to focus on here obviously is the one for blogs I just lay it out a skeleton here of a blog post just the headings of what I want to discuss in a blog post about the pros and cons of taking a mini

retirement. So once you have your idea, you can lay it out like this and then in the top left

hand corner you can describe what the whole blog post is going to be about. So I just have a bit of a

short description here that it's talking about the positives and negatives of taking many

retirement when you're young and instead of waiting until your 60s to retire. You can even

set the tone of voice that you want Jasper to use. So if you're writing, say, professional or an

educational type of blog posts, you can select that tone or you can go for a more witty one that I've

gone for here. So the keywords then, that is just the keywords that you want to focus on. You can

select three different keywords here. So I just select the mini retirement and live in life. And

that's pretty much all I have to do. And now I can just start using

compose function here on each section. So first I'm going to start off with an introduction

and just see what Jasper comes up with for an introduction. So I'm just going to click Compose

here down on the left-hand side and then Jasper is going to get to work

So as you can see in a matter of seconds it just pumped out an intro paragraph for me If I not happy with that I can just simply delete it and go again or I can put my own tone of voice on it

That's what I particularly like to do because when you're writing with AI, you're gonna lose your own voice

So you need to still add your own voice to the whole blog post and I will normally take whatever Jasper pumps out and edit it so it comes back and shows a bit of my own, I suppose, writing style

but it really helps if you're stuck in some sort of mental block that you can just get jasper to pump out a paragraph here to get you thinking and get your mind jogging and you can get the overall job done much quicker not everything that it's going to pump out here is going to be gold but it will definitely help you a lot if you want to try it out for yourself jasper are giving away 10,000 free words so you can try it out for a while see what you think about yourself if it's quality enough if it's going to help you out give it a go and see what you think first before you commit to do with it because it can be quite an expensive tool I'm

on the boss mode here at the moment and I get in like 50,000 words a month. You can go at a

starter pack here and that's a $24 a month but I'm paying $49 per month at the moment. So

you want to be making sure that it's something that you want to use a lot to just get the value

out of it A word of warning for anybody using these AI tools whenever you have your finished product always put it through some sort of plagiarism checker as well because you just don know exactly where they taking this information from because it may end up copying a few sentences from elsewhere

so you need to be a bit careful about that while using an a i i writing tool is not against medium's

policies having duplicate content is so that is just one thing to be careful with i mentioned earlier

that i do have a website where i publish a couple of posts a week but just to be honest with you i would

never use Jasper AI for any of those blog posts. For one reason, and that is the potential

damage that a Google update could do to the website. It's still pretty unclear whether Google

is able to spot whether you're using AI writing tools or not, but I prefer to err on the side

of caution. They have some of the most powerful tools in the world, and I'm sure if they don't

already have the power to do it, soon they will have the power to know if you're using those

AI writing tools and I don't think they look at them too favourably so that's why I would like

to just keep my own website pretty clean and I would never use Jasper AI and if you're probably

in the same boat I wouldn't recommend you doing it either but I have seen lots of people use it for

websites maybe that they don't have too much of a long term plan for but that obviously is your

own judgment but when it comes to posting on medium.com there's no real risk at all so I'm very

happy to do it there
